Montegrappa Limited Edition- The Batman Fountain Pen

Adapting external design codes to the shape and functional demands of high-performance writing instruments requires special expertise and extensive prototyping. The process of design and development lasted a total of 18 months.

The official “The Batman” logo is set into the lower barrel, cast in miniature from ruthenium-plated brass. The logo is also laser-engraved into the cap top – a reference to the Bat-Signal.

The Batman: Limited Edition comprises ceramic-tumbled titanium, polished black ruthenium-plated brass and stainless steel. Production combines industrial and artisanal processes including CNC-machining, lost wax casting and machine turning.
